What an honour to be given the commission to paint Tian Tian and Yang Guang (Sunshine and Sweetie) as a thank you gift from Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.

recieving paintings at presentation last Sunday 4th December on the safe arrival of the Giant Pandas.
The atmosphere was amazing, as thought it was everyone in the rooms birthday.

Alongside my 100 Artworks for 100 days at £100 each blog, I am starting a main blog on my website. Hopefully it will be an opportunity to share ideas, painting techniques, exhibtion news etc and take over from the 100 project when it finishes on 21st November
I think I will keep the concept of £100 paintings going as I have really enjoyed the challenge and it provides a great price point for special presents for friends, real art for children's bedrooms or just adding to your collection
I am also looking forward to doing some giant paintings. I have an idea in mind for a massive elephant painting, a head on elephant charging towards you, but quite abstract as he explodes out of the background with an amazing vibrant palette of colour. I need a big wall to hang it on, so anyone out there want to commission a great big wow factor elephant let me know!

Wow... day 100!!! Fantastic. Totally enjoyed this 100 Artworks project and have learnt loads. Thank you all so much for the support I have received and for buying paintings and making the challenge a success. I am delighted.
As I have now got into the habit of painting every day I am going to do a series of drawings and paintings based on angels over the next month. Prices will start from £30 for drawings and £100 for oil paintings. Angels will appear on my website next week. It will be a kind of advent calender project. And hopefully a lot of fun. I am looking forward to doing lots of drawing.
